Midpoint Reflection

My internship at "Dwa Fanm" has been the same every day. The environment at Dwa Fanm and IHSL is similar because people are nice and friendly with me.

Some new skills that I had learned that I can apply at other jobs is 1) to be a receptionist because I been answering the phone every day, and make sure that people sign the papers.

I don't have any relationship with my mentor and my co-workers at all. My English is kind of change since beginning of my internship because I always speak English with them that how it change, communicate with them . The challenges at my internship that I have been faced with is to file the documents away also to make copies of to many like fifty of them then fold them like a fliers.

What I would like to accomplish during the remaining weeks, is to do another task beside what I do every day. A new thing that I have learned about New York City is that many children don't respect their parents, and some of their husband beat they wife really badly.

My first two weeks

When I first arrived at my internship I was a little bit
nervous because I didn't know what I was supposed to do or what
to accomplish but my mentor was a very nice and caring person.
The first day I arrived at the internship I was on the train
with my friend then when I got there I was
surprised because
everyone was nice and happy to have us there.

They welcomed me and my mentor
introduced me to all of the co-
workers. She showed me how to use the
copy machine, answer the phone, transfer the calls and have people sign in when they come in. It is also my job to
shred papers, make copies of flyers and also to put the files in alphabetical order.
